To cardi or not to cardi?

I know that you are all about gift ideas and maybe already spring?????? But I 've got a neverending question in my wardrobe : what should I wear? Not because my wardrobe is a mess, but I barely ever buy long sleeved tops, and I just never had a knitted cardi that I liked skin. So I went online to find something that I could wear, feel warm and also chic!!
And I 've chosen stuff that would work for all different body shapes, so get inspired...

Bravo Galliano!

Have visited my family recently and as I was showing brother Arkadiusz collections for men for Spring/Summer 2012 , I gave him a little intro before each collection, and there so he learned about Dior-Galliano affair. To those who didn't follow: Galliano working for Dior as a head designer since 1996 , got fired in March 2011 after an incident that happened after John drunk too much and expressed his alcohol-influenced point of view about two jewish girls in Paris. Ever since Dior was looking for his replacement and sadly couldn't tempt Marc Jacobs to work for them. Guess why ???I think if you let your most creative artist to go in 5 seconds after years of common happiness, youre just showing lack of loyalty and ... suffer the lack of new talents coming.

Ok, enough of gossip, hte most important and striking is the comparison of both fashion giants in latest Menswear for SS 2012. Have a look:

Dior Men SS 2012

John Galliano Men SS 2012

And now, my brother's answer to that two shows was : " People working in Dior probably went : lets make a white suit, and after they've done it ,they went: lets think about some crazy colours! And they came up with ...black!!". My feelings drifted to Galliano aswell, and I am proud of him and his new e-shop which you can check here: www.gallianostore.com since 18th November.
P.S. I hope that Dior will get better at some point, as poor Christian (Dior) can not rest in peace now !

Woman's best friend

As it is a little bit gloomy and cold today, I thought about warming it up a bit with lovely shoe ideas for winter. As Prada started this Season  with their snakeskin knee high boots I wasn't sure weather it will actually sell on High Street, but definitely I'm loving her angled heel paired with "sock looking" calf bit in various colours.
So I went to conclusion : colour, print, texture and there you go what I found !!
Enjoy...

A bit of relief in a Gold Party Season

It happened so that I went to The White Rabbit pub in Brighton yesterday to have a little glass of wine and listen to some of the fine music of my friends. Prior to their performance on the stage appeared the loveliest creature that I have seen for ages called Alexandra Kenwrick Patterson. Not only talented but also very inspirational wore black top paired with long purple skirt, very simple, easy and soooo good looking. As I didn't have my camera with me I am just giving you an idea of how it could look
                                                Black jersey top from H&M

Purple Skirt from Armani on the www.yoox.com
I think that that amazing black shirt can relieve anyone who parties a lot this season and just wants to jump into something comfy but still beautiful and the skirt easy fits in a new Versace's colour scheme for H&M (http://www.hm.com/pl/versace#home) as well as recent Gisele styling from December's Vogue(http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2011/10/31/gisele-bundchen---british-vogue-december-cover/gallery#).

You can easily transfer from that look to a bit more polished by Mary Katrantzou (http://www.elleuk.com/catwalk/collections/mary-katrantzou/spring-summer-2012/collection/katrantzou-rs12-0022-mary-katrantzou-london-spring-summer-2012/%28index%29/1)  and enjoy the splash of colour balanced with something very rocky such as a black shirt. I love this look and am already thinking about mixing it with gold fruity jewellery by Maxim Voznesensky from www.annoushka-jewellery.com such as this piece of yummy kiwi.

The Big Beginning

Oh, ah and finally online, after dreaming and thinking and hours of research I have my own blog. Hey! My little lovely bloggie, how are you ? I hope we will have a long and creative journey together and hopefully inspire here and there from time to time all those who look out for the creation and style and oh... so much that I can't even list it all. But I promise I will be good for you and will try to keep up with the posts. So Happy Birthday my lovely NIUNIA'S WARDROBE and have a happy time :)
